The Americano has Landed

Introducing the Americano by Landershot - a precision CNC machined manual espresso machine. Discover the features and craftsmanship in this all-new American design - Made in the USA.

                          One Small Sip for Man

Inspired by the incredible engineering accomplishments of the Apollo 11 Lunar Module, the Americano is 100% designed and built by American machinists.

This is a 51mm, 12 volt heated-grouphead, manual espresso machine. It is designed for precision extraction with the use of a worm gear operated rack and pinion driven piston. The high gear ratio in the hand cranked worm gear allows for easy compact generation of pressure in the grouphead. A control knob on the side allows you to set the temperature of the grouphead from 50 to 100C. And an easy to read custom gauge allows you to pilot your espresso shot profile to a smooth extraction. Precision CNC machined complete in our USA machine shop, the Americano comes with a lifetime warranty.

Piloted Control

On July 20, 1969, in the final seconds before landing, Neil Armstrong switched to manual control to land the Lunar Module safely on the Moon. The landing site revealed a boulder field that needed to be piloted over in the last seconds. The attractiveness of manual control lies in the fact that it's hard for computers to account for all scenarios when faced with ever-changing variables.

Manual espresso machines offer that piloted control that allows you to adjust your pressure profile on the fly to compensate for grind size, roast, etc. or simply experiment with pre-infusion times and varying pressure profiles throughout the length of the shot. With a variable temperature, heated-grouphead and a compact easy to operate worm-gear-driven piston, the Americano allows you to pilot your shot to the perfect extraction.

Compact Manual Espresso

The legs of the Americano fold in for compact portability and        reduced countertop footprint.

Craftsmanship Meets Innovation

Our commitment to quality and precision in every machine we create results in an espresso-making-experience that is fun, has a simple efficient workflow, and best of all, allows the home barista to experiment with complete control over making espresso.

Pre-order Special

Americano espresso machines are built in batches of 200.

The first 200 machines are now available to pre-order at a significant discount. The regular price of the Americano is $789, however, the first 200 machines are available at $589. The first batch is set to begin shipping June 1, 2025.

If the status of the machines is "pre-order" you can place an order for a machine that is being built from the current batch and will have a lead time of one to six weeks. Within 48 hours of placing your order, an email will be sent to you regarding your placement on the schedule and a scheduled ship date. If the status of the machines is "Out of Stock" with no option for pre-order then the current batch is sold out. You may cancel your order at any time and receive a full refund.
